Benjamin Igwe was born into the family of Mr. & Mrs. Igwe in 1970, in Umuruko village Ukpor, Nnewi South Local Government Area Anambra State. He attended Boys High School, Ukpor for his secondary school education and immediately started business thereafter in 1986.
He then went into apprenticeship for five (5) years after which he established an automobile spare parts business at Idumota, Lagos. He then incorporated Bensheck Nig Ltd, a company that has been driving the spare parts business till date. Afterwards he incorporated Autosheck Oil and Gas Ltd.
The market for lubricants, brake fluids as well as grease soon became his promoter’s flagship. Today, he produce these lubricants in Nigeria to develop the local content initiative.
Mr. Ben Igwe is articulate with good business acumen hence his ability to steer the auto spare parts and oil business to greater heights over the years. He is a proud recipient of 2023 Sun Newspaper award as “Entrepreneur of the year”.
